It has been suggested that the car be called Waitangi as I bought it at auction on Waitangi Day (interesting to read up about this, goes back to the history of the signing of an agreement between Maori and Pakeha - quite controversial these days but is celebrated with a day off at the beginning of February). The car is doing very well trundling about Auckland - many, many u-turns at this stage as I manage to get lost anywhere and everywhere possible. And that is the house in the background!
Lots happenning this week with the 1st years arriving for orientation. Will hopefully be able to get stuck in with chatting with students and getting to know folks!
