These past few months have been just amazing. Amazing. Great time with students in God's word - studying Isaiah with EU, seeing God's salvation plan unfolding as the Servant is promised; studying John in AUTCF, being challenged with the relationship between Father and Son; continuing and finishing Luke at Jesus on Trial, being stunned by the cross and the resurrection.
And we are seeing people coming to Christ. What joy it was to receive a text from one of the amazing girls who has been part of these studies declaring her belief, that she'd 'prayed the prayer', that 'this is what she wants to live her life for'... This is what it is all about. Praise God! And there are others, growing, coming to know him for the first time, working through counting the cost of being a disciple. He really is at work.
So work is continuing amazingly. Great reminders of God's goodness to us as well and his blessing on me as I was able to share celebration of my b'day with just the best bunch of folks... didn't realise it'd be quite so early. What a surprise at 6:45am! And then such a lovely weekend. I am thankful for each and every one of them!
